-Bias in curriculum or classroom materials
-Discriminatory actions or statements by staff, admin, or the school board
-Harassment, bullying, or personal attacks against Jewish students or families
-Antisemitic rhetoric or actions within the community or student body

Education

We advocate for a more comprehensive and accurate Middle East curriculum, strengthened Holocaust education, and ongoing professional training for all staff, teachers, administrators, and school board members. Our goal is to ensure they can recognize, acknowledge, and effectively address antisemitism and Jew-hatred when it occurs. Additionally, we seek to ensure that educational materials are thoroughly vetted for accuracy, free from bias, and do not promote misleading narratives.  By prioritizing fact-based education and fostering an environment of awareness and accountability, we strive to make our schools a place where truth and inclusivity guide learning.

We are proud to have launched Jewish History Month across the district in May 2024 and look forward to building on this each May going forward.

Community educational and informational events will be scheduled periodically.

Collaboration

We are committed to working collaboratively with external partners along with the LMSD administration to combat antisemitism and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment for all students. We believe that by sharing our knowledge, experiences and resources, we can help the district develop effective policies, educational initiatives, and community programs that address antisemitism and promote understanding. Through open dialogue, training opportunities, and proactive engagement, we hope to support the administration in making our schools a place where every student feels respected, valued and safe. Together, we can ensure that our district remains a model of inclusivity, belonging and excellence.

We also strive for collaboration with our school board and would like to see
